    Sort of a nice banking pose in filtered light that does show a bit of detail in the wings.

    Nikon D300, 500 AFSVR, ISO 640, f7.1, 1/2000 CW metering, Near UniWB preset, +1.3 EV compensation

    This one has considerably more wing detail than your last one if memory serves me Jim. I like it!

    Fortunately Doug as the bird turned, it put a tiny bit of shadow onto the wings, allowing for some of the detail to be captured in this image.

    This is one tough species to get a lot of detail in though!
