This beautiful lady stopped for a rest one afternoon in my Pops garden. She was painted with a Nikon D2x using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 D IF-ED lens, with a Nikkor 1.4 T/C.

Gus, another beautiful DF shot! I just love the colors and minimalist structure of these creatures. I am a little surprised at the shallow DOF that you got with the aperture and shutter speed. I'm guessing that the wingspan is fairly significant. Were the wings in motion?
Yes, the wings were moving Kerry; this is why I could not get the even sharpness that I wanted on all four...These little guys are a charm to photograph...:)
