    Loverley fluffy bird. EXP perfect. Nice COMP but perch too big (ideally) for the bird. What caused the shadow on the left side of the bird's breast?

    Was this bird photographed in Montreal in NOV??????????

    The detail is unreal is this pic.... so sharp. A little more DOF might have helped but im not sure it so good as is.

    I like the fluffed-up pose, details and the eye and find it a bit tight in the frame. I might clone out the branches in the BG.

    What caused the shadow on the left side of the bird's breast?
    I'll take a stab and say the beak caused the shadow.

    Its a wondeful image, I've never seen the eyes on these birds look so good. I'd definitely clone out the BG sticks.

    Hey Mike, That's what I though originally and taking a second look I agree. What fooled me is that the light seems to nice to be almost directly overhead...

    Too funny... after I read your question and looked at it I was like hmmmm... I was confused and then I thought this has to be simple. Sometimes our eyes fool us as it fooled me too. :)
