    Great details, eye contact and BG. It's just a bit tight in the frame for my taste.

    Great light on the bird's head and body. The clouds add an important second layer of interest.

    I've decided I quite like the crop after all.

    Quite well done considering the uneven light. The clouds are my favorite part of the image and the bird ain't bad either.

    I really like this, Jody. The sky BG is superb and the light on the head and eye makes a beautiful focal point. Happy with the tight crop as is but would prefer a tiny bit more room below.

    A very fine exposure here...to keep all the whites in check. The clouds in the background provide a spectacular backdrop. This is a really awesome Red-tailed Hawk image!
