The duck´s pose is very nice and colors and textures in the plumage are fantastic. Very neat eye contact. Some whites areas looks too bright to my taste (I checked it in PS and they are not hot) but you did a very good job on the exposure considering the intensity of light and the amount of light and dark areas in the bird. The Bg is a litle bit distracting but not bad, much better if the shooting angle were lower... but we can not have all that we wants ;-)

Thanks Juan, Excellent Critique! This was mid day and very harsh lighting. I think a lower perspective would have been nice also, but was afraid I might sink :) Take Care...

I like the walking pose and eye contact. The light is a bit harsh and a lower angle would have made it even better. I would crop a bit off the top.

I do not think that you could have done much better in the tough conditions. If getting right down on the ground had been do-able you could have come up with a more attractive BKGR.
