i told everyone i was going to put up a wren today, but this picture just perched in the place i wanted to be.
i was going to shoot the perch, and this titmouse flew in and stood there while i was taking pictures.

    Hi Mike,
I like the composition...you display good details and good colors on your bird...the head angle is off; it needs CCW rotation and upward vertical rotation. the background is a tad on the dark side, but I do like the compositional elements employed...I suggest on cloning out the two diagonal stumps that stick out from the bottom of the frame...looking forward to your next one...

Hi Mike - agree with Gus on the Techs - nice to see you attempting a shot without having to replace the BG.
    Keep em coming :)

I like this a lot Mike !!! Good light on the bird, sharp and good bg !!!

Would crop a little form the bottom and will clean up that area plus make the bird larger in frame. Head angle doesn't bother me much since the bird is focused on something I like it a lot !!!!

Thanks, it was just one of those amazing things that God gives us from time to time. i agree that the perch is a bit massive for the bird, and i guess i should have gotten incloser. nice little active titmouse though.
