    This bird and many others were feeding in the Fraser River estuary, just off the Alaksen Preserve. 50D, 400/5.6 at 5.6, Av, 1/500, EC+1 2/3, ISO400. Dave

    Beautiful bird. Nice job with the exposure compensation. I would move the bird to the left of the frame.

    It would be good to try to use fill flash. The eye the side of the face are a little too dark. Nice composition, I like the wave upfront.

    Very pretty image and I love the soft action of the water you captured in this image Dave. Lovely pose too and I agree with Doug about moving it slightly to the left. Many thanks for sharing.

    I like the details and angle. Adding to the other comments, it could go a bit brighter and there is a slight color cast on my monitor.

    With the nice wake I am A-OK with the COMP but am with Axel on brighter, esp. the neck....
