    Default Blackbird (turdus merula)

I put perch above drinking spot and hope that she will land on it....... and she did....after few hours
BG is muddy water hole visited by lots of species.

Very nice pose, angle, light and complementing BG. I might clone out the bright spot above the beak on the edge of the image.

While I am not mad about the perch the bird and the bg are very nice.
Love the details and the colors.

    Hi Marko

Looks like a young bird which are usually fairly easy to get in close on. Good sharp shot and well posed. I think the background colour really compliments the bird well.

    Cheers

I like this, Marko. Lighting , colours, pose , focus all great. I would avoid sharpening the perch as it is highlighting the trexture of it which is a bit distracting. Eye and beak look great.
