    This image of a pair of Egyptian geese was made in Masai Mara in Kenya.
    Canon EOS5D with 500mm f4 and 1.4X TC
    ISO 100, f5.6 and 1/200

    Beautiful birds. I'm not sure about the composition as the bird in front covers so much of the other one and the shadow on the other bird is a bit distracting. Overall, it could go a bit brighter.

    Interesting image. I agree wirth Axel that brightening it would be good. I suspect you are protedcting the whites but using an adjustment layer to lighten the image and then a layer mask to avoid if effecting the whites would help. I would go with a tighter crop to focus more on the interaction between the birds and make that lovely green speculum more prominent in the picture

    Thanks Axel, Tony and Judy for your comments. Tony had rightly pointed out that in trying to protect the whites I had pulled down the highlights. I am reposting the image with a brighter image ( I couldn't follow Tony's suggestion as my skills in PS is still limited) and with a tighter crop as suggested. I did not have much choice at the time of making this image to move in any direction to change the composition of the two birds. Personally, I had thought the two birds close to each other went well as a composition.
