    Default Siberian Blue Thrush

This was taken in the last light of the day around 7.00 pm.

The Siberian Blue Thrush is a very shy winter migrant found in deep jungle.

I could have gone for a higher s/s but that would have made the flash the main lighting and the background dark which I did not want.

Beautiful bird that I have never seen before, thanks for sharing! I wish for a lower angle and better head angle and it looks quite noisy on my monitor.

Cute little guy. I agree about the noise. I wonder why you didn't want a darker BG? To my eye it would have made the bird stand out more and reduced the extra bright areas around the bird to a more manageable level.
