    Jeni, Jeni, Jeni,
Hmmmmm I'm holding back the HA police... You were almost there..:D just a slight tad of CCW rotation...the eye is nice and sharp, the details and color rendition are superb...I like this pose and the perch is ideal...suggestion: I would tone down or desaturate the two green off flares on both sides of the bird, or clone them out and blend in the surrounding background...aside from this, I like this image very much...good show Jeni...and I hope you a speedy recovery...

Jeni, I keep feeling like I've seen this before. Anyway colors and details are great and I love how nice and natural the eye looks.

HI Jeni - hope you are on the improve. :)

I agree with Gus on the green flares either side of the bird - but gorgeous bird - as you noted the HA is just off - your exposure is good, you have sharp details, composition is good. Not far off at all :)

Hi Jeni, Hope you are back on your feet, soon. I like the sharp detail in the head area and the bg color.

Hope to see you running around soon Jeni !!!

Jeni I would desat the two green flaring things by the neck, would not clone ... would not clone? why clone they are there and that is the way it is? Making them less prominent will be fine and it is a lovely image. You might might to make a layer and multiple to get more texture on the whites. Bringing in some feather texture from another part of the bird might also be a good idea. It is something that is there and you are enhancing.

Just wish I had one as good as this one ... this is my nemesis bird !!!

    Thanks guys appreciate the comments.
Denise , you have seen a similar one - I took 4 shots of the KF and posted one about 3 weeks ago. Just a slightly different angle and HA.:)
Will try to tone down the shrub in the bg - thanks Gus and Al for the advice.:D
