    I'll start of the new year with a good one.. I hope. While working on my Bighorn Basin book this past summer I had a chance to work some long-billed curlews which nest in the basin.

    Canon 1d2, EF500mmF4IS, handheld, ISO 320, 1/3200 @ F6.3

    To catch him banking like this is awesome Dale and the beautiful feather detail and pose just puts this over the top !! Excellent.

    D-Bob, Love the pose and the detail. The back of the bird looks a tad sharper than the head and the light is a bit harsh. Still wish that it were mine. Was it created as a vertical?
