    Default Ivory Gull in Flight

First off....these are the absolutely most stunning white birds I've ever seen....and I don't think there is anything whiter!

This also makes them a bit difficult to expose properly and to retain the minuscule bit of detail that I could see on this beauty...it is so white, there just isn't much detail visible.

Image created this morning in Plymouth MA.....diffuse clouds over the sun and a powder blue sky to the north / northeast.

Beautiful bird and great banking pose, fanned tail and eye contact. The BG looks good, too. Is this cropped from horizontal?

This one is cropped from horizontal Axel.

I was so thrilled to see this beauty, I didn't dare try flight shots in vertical :)

Awesome picture, its amazing how white this bird is. That is a killer pose too.
I road tripped down with a friend last weekend but while we were there is just floated around in the water about half a mile out. Glad to see it was more cooperative for you!

Default The Whites may Look Hot

But they aren't blown....this is simply how utterly brilliant white this bird actually is.

I typed up a post on this image yesterday but must have forgotten to submit it. It's a stunning image of a rare bird. What more can you ask for!
