    Irises can be a great subject to shoot. I really liked this colorful hybrid.
    Nikon D200 200mm macro
    f/22, tripod mtd, iso 200, 0 comp
    gold reflector applied, no flash

    I like this a lot, Dave. The colors are great! I love the perspective (in real tight) and the composition. Details are sharp. You have a winner there, Dave. Well done. Oh and the dew/water droplets add a wonderful touch.

    I'm with Ed and the others on this one - it's beautiful! The only thing that might have made it even stronger would be more of a diagonal slant to the flower so the lines coming down from the purple petal were more at an angle. Something to think about next time...

    Nicely done Dave,
    I like the composition...I would like to see the color hues and tones a little bit desaturated, on the softer side...this is my personal taste...:):cool:

    Hey Dave, agree with others, good looking image, I think Jules makes a good point about positioning the lines of the petal on more of a diagonal. Well done.
