    Hello,

    Caught this Old World House Sparrow perched on Pittosporum with Adobe wall as BG this morning before light got harsh.

    CC's welcome and appreciated, reposts too,

    F/6.3, 1/1250s
    ISO 200
    0.70 ev, high but compensating as for snow
    Auto WB
    430 focal length

    Wow! Very dramatic bird Gina. It is very catching. I like how the high tone bg isolates the bird. Also looks like bird may have been darkened a tad and perhaps colour sat. a bit, not sure. Great details and nic eye contact, as well as a bit of beak isolated. Well done. Dave

    Hi Gina Good point by Dave !!! Can also point the sharpest part of the image is the shoulder not the eye. Would try focusing and repositioning or just select a different focus point !!

    Love the pose and setting !!!!

    Gina, all the techs have been covered, I love the Pittosporum-it's variegated colors are lovely-HA and composition look great!

    I like it the way it is. The branch where he's sitting against the white background makes it for me Aunt Gina.
