My third "birding" trip to the Island, second with the 500mm, and still can't get a decent picture of this beauty... maybe next time, this is the best so far.

(FYI this small bird is about 4 1/2 inches)

I know that the background is brutal, the original was worse, some PS work to clone some branches.
    C/C welcome, Raul

    That is Pocahontas pet! :D
Lovely looking bird with terrific colors and good detail, I think it is a bit overexposed and the sharpest area seems to be the wing and not the head. I would try to tone down the perch and BG. Congratulations on a very nice species.

Beautiful bird, I'm not sure I have seen this species before. The bird looks a bit soft on my monitor and I wish for a bit more eye contact.

Hi Raul Agree with suggestions and have one Why not raise the ISO and have the lens wide open, if you get the perfect pose will have the best chance at a sharp image !!! Good luck !!!

Vamos Raul que la cuarta es la vencida!

You almost got it! I'm sure next time you will show us a great image of this stunning bird.
Really nice colors. Ditto Alfred comments.
