    Stuart,

    Heron looks great and I loke the slight blur of the wings. You need more room front top and especially bottom. Also, I would clone out the stray brush behind the feet protruding into the frame.

    Besides what Rob said, I would remove the noise in the BG. I agree about cloning the branch out.

    An excellent action pose, Stuart. I would second the comments of Robert and Maxis above. Also, I would tone down or clone the white areas in the lower right corner as they really draw my eye away from the bird.

    Nice pose, stick, wing position, and an implied sense of motion even though the head is relatively sharp. Clipping the toes, however, is a big no-no. I agree with the excellent comments and suggestions above.
