    Taken earlier today at Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge...

    40D, EF 70-200mm f/4 IS L + 1.4X @ 280mm
    1/500 sec, f/8, ISO 400, Exp. comp. -1/3

    Indranil,

    F/8 gave you some good DOF and with the head turn, the position works well. You also handled the strong light well. I would try opening up the shadows on the bill to show more detail.

    Hello Indranil,

    I like the eye contact and head angle. I also think you did a great job keeping low. I would remove the noise in the BG.

    While I agree with Robert on the positives and agree that that the repost is better, I feel that the image is quite contrasty and does not quite look sharp. Try using a reverse S-Curve to reduce the contrast.
