Looks pretty darn good to me Mark! The image conveys speed and grace at the same time. I like it! :)

This is lovely, Mark - good panning result. Love the BG and blurred wingtips - pity about the bird second from bottom being blurred. I would probably remove the 2 incomplete trailing birds.

I like it! Lovely light, nice colors, and very nice FX, I would've probably clone out of the frmae the clipped Cranes from the left. Still, very nice. Congratulaitons!

I love it. 1/40 sec. is a great choice for the distance. Eliminating the trailing birds with a QM of the opposite corner flopped and darkened too about 15 seconds.

ps: I love, love, love the BKGR.

I like your efforts at these as well. As Tony mentioned, pity the one so oof. Lovely background colors which complement the cranes well.

My quick and I mean quick effort at manipulating your image. I took the ones head that was in focus and pasted it on the the out focus birds then blended and smoothed the transition. Obviously I eliminated the two birds coming into the frame.

I like the effect you achieved here, Mark. My primary critique was the 2 clipped birds on the left - thus, I like the reposts by Artie and Mike. Well done.

Thanks everyone for the critique. Thank you Arthur and Mike for the versions you came up with, obviously better than my original. I'm trying to learn...

Last repost works MUCH better. The blur is terrific and really adds to the image. Love the colors in the BG as well!
