    This picture is not of a great artistic interrest. It just amazes me to see the feathers all puffed-up. It was about -15C. Overcast with snow flakes.

    Nice and sharp, and I also like the fluffed-up pose and wintery flavor to the image. Would you have been able to get up higher to minimize the bar obstructing the bird at bottom? The cut tail does not bother me here...this is helped by the careful framing of the wing feathers.

    Beautiful warm-toned bird and wonderful fluffy feathers. Was it in a birdbath? The snow is great but the cut off tail is not. BKGR is so-so.

    Rene,

    He is probably frozen so you could have picked him up and put him on a better perch. Agree that the bird is great. You could try going for a real close pano with the eye near the RoTs. Just a thought.

    The bird is inside the platform feeder. I could not see the end of the tail, this is why it is clipped.

    Here is another version as recommended by Robert.
