    I photographed this Red Shoulder Hawk today at Ding Darling, Sanibel, FL. I used my Sony Alpha 100 with a 50-500 Sigma lens. The data as follows- f/7.1, 1/500, 0 ev, ISO 100, 500mm. Beautiful day, very clrar sky. Not a lot of activity, but kept a little busy. Thanks for looking, John

    Sharp. Too contrasty. The blue of the sky is borderline funky. Whites on top of head look burned.

    A vertical would have worked well here.

    I like the eye contact and perch and wish for a lower angle. The bird looks a bit soft on my monitor and I agree on overexposure of some of the highlights and vertical crop which would allow you to include the 'virtual' tail.

    Agree on the comments and will add that warming up and lowering the EXP at conversion will probably improve.
