    Default Studded With Jewels

It's amazing the details your camera can show you when shooting macro. In this picture, I love how the dewdrops look like jewels covering the blade of grass. I do wish that I had shot this with a higher f/stop to get more of the dewdrops in focus, but I'd like your opinions on it.

I also tried converting this to sepia, which version do you like better?

    Olympus SP-550 UZ

Aperture priority mode, pattern metering, auto WB, natural light
Processed in Photoshop CS2; cropped, curves adjustment, and sharpened

WOW! Looks like a diamond braclet ~ Reminds me of "Diamonds are a girl's best friend."

    Well done, I like it . . .

Can't decide which is my favorite, I like them both, Christopher. Very interesting.

Greens my favorite colour Christopher. Nicely done. At first i thought they were beads of frost. Great idea. Dave

Love them both for different reasons The base image is very strong and dof wise can go either way. Actually I like taking one at max and one at minimum dof Each has its own appeal.

For these one of the keys is soft light, since you are covering such a small area might want to get a diffuser !!!
