    I was able to work some Pintails the other day on Black Point Drive, i did not have the best angle with the light here but I really like the graceful arch of the neck and blue water.

    40D, 500 f/4 IS, 1/2500 at f/5.6, Manual, Evaluative Metered, ISO 400, Raw, Bean Bag From Car, Cropped

    I like the details, exposure control and eye contact and might crop a bit off the bottom. Do you have images of this bird before he passed you?

    Great light, detail, erxposure, colors and species. I would have left more room at the top, but I like it very much!

    Love the posture but not the fact that the bird is angled slightly away from you. Light angle not bad at all. Sharp and a perfect EXP. I was just there for six days and got zip on pintails so you did well.

    I ditto the comments on the fantastic detail and exposure... if you cropped this any, I would maybe add a little more room right & top if you have the pixels, etc. Nice work!
