Time and weather wouldn't allow me out to shoot this weekend. We picked up some Oriental Lillys' and shot them at home. Converted and adjusted in Lightroom 2. Couldn't decide on sharp or soft versions, so I'll offer this up for guidance.

Dave I like the shot. Thought it was a little dark and lightened the mid-tones with curves. Might sharpen it a little too.

Nice photo Dave. My preference is for the lighter version, so like the repost best. Good idea. Dave

Dave, This is a very unique shot of an oriental lily. I like the lightening Jackie did but would keep the whites as shown in orig. post. Nicely done!

Thanks Jackie, Dave , and Denise. I think I agree with you Denise. It may be a bit more work, but I do like the idea of the trying to lighten up without losing too much of that color..

    Hi Dave,
I like the composition...It's elements are symmetrical and balanced...I like the tri-level textures present. The base image is under exposed and a tad on the soft side displaying signs of being a bit flat...I adjusted the saturation and contrast and selective sharpened to bring out the details...see if this present best to you...

Thanks Gus, I think this repost really captures what I was trying to say about lightening while still retaining the strong colors and detail. Thanks again.
