Another image from my recent Bosque trip. Conditions and the light were just about perfect that morning. Comments and Critiques welcome

    Hi Stephen,
You have pretty nice wing positions on the front 2 birds and while not ideal.......I don't mind the sandhills in the BG. My main concern is the green shrubs at the top of the frame. A crop will definitely help emphasize the cranes more and eliminate those distractions. You can easily see this by scrolling your browser to the top of the screen just to the base of the greenery. I do wonder about your ISO choice here......as it is pretty bright.......but the noise looks pretty good because of the warmth of the light........just for future reference.

Very nice habitat image, details and light look good. I only wish the flying birds had not passed you yet. Keep them coming!

Good job on stopping the action here. I would have like a higher point of view to give a little separation between the flying cranes and the ones in the BG. Of course, when they come flying by, you don't have time to do that. Otherwise, you have a good exposure, great light and an interesting pose. Well done.

I like the wing position of the front bird best. The image needs some CW rotation--check out the plant stems upper left.... I actually like the green bushes and would like to see a bit more of them but do not like the three BKGR cranes (esp. as they are looking away).
