    I like this image Hugh - the patterning on the bird's back echoed by the texture of the beach is nice. Is that a catadioptric lens with the dough nut OOF highlights - don't see much of that nowadays. Looks like a dust bunny on the right near the top of the frame that could do with a click of the healing brush.

    Hi Hugh, this is a nice capture of the plover - great pattern in the plumage and complimented by the blue and green BG. The image on my monitor looks as if it would benefit from a tad lightening.

    Despite being a little dark, which is easily fixed, I believe the complimentary patterns work very well. I also like the BG.

    Hugh well captured image. I like the low angle as well. Were you shooting down a slope of the beach?

    Great angle and pose, Hugh. I agree that it could go a bit brighter.

    Excellent capture Hugh with a great environmental feel to this one. I have to agree with going brighter and I would clone out the circular highlights.
