    Default Tree Swallow

Last spring at a nesting area for this species , I was fortunate that they afforded some wonderful poses , Rebel XT W/ 100-400 , F/5.6, 1/100 sec, ISO 400, Ev comp 0.67

This is a great portrait image of this bird. The composition is simple, yet effective. Adding +0.67 EV gave you a perfect exposure. I wish you could have had a little more DOF but you seem to have been very short on light. Perhaps going up to ISO 800, f/8 would have helped. Congrautlations on a wonderful image.

Lovely image Wayne - that colour is amazing - agree with Joel re DOF but see the conditions were challenging due to lack of light. Love the background and how the perch blends with it to leaving all attention on the bird. Well done.

It is nicely exposed and the BG is unobtrusive. More DOF would have been perfect.

Well captured details around the head and eye Wayne. As already mentioend a touch more DOF would have brought the tail and wing tips into focus as well.

Very nice pose and BG. In addition to the mentioned DOF I might raise the color temperature a bit since the whites have a slight blue cast on my monitor.

So delicate & beautiful, lovely expression on the bird's face. Nits covered above.
