    Rene, your colors in this are beautiful - the blue against the purple and green are lovely. I do think it would work better if you had included more of the plants - they feel a bit "cut off at the knees" here. Also, try to keep the rule of thirds in mind and put those two tallest spikes more to the left "third" of the image - maybe cropping off that first stalk on the left would reorient the image a bit.

    Hey Rene, I think you did well on the focus,DOF, light and BG, but agree with Jules it seems a bit cut off and I think just a tad more of the flowers would help.
