I was trying out a new perch setup in my backyard this afternoon. The light was great but the only birds who visisted my setup were chickadees. Even though these birds are quite common, they are quite a challenge to photograph because they are always on the move. This one only stopped long enough to chirp a couple notes. I didn't get him with his mouth wide open, but I like the angle of the perch and the subject.

Pose and details are nice but since this is a setup, I would pick one that doesn't cause distractions like the OOF branch in this case.

Nice details on this bird Joel. I agree with Axel about the OOF branch. It also appears to have some halo (on my monitor) on the light side of the same branch.
