    Awesome shot denise...I love the detail in the plumage down her side. The perch and background have great complimenting tones with the bird. It is a real nice study piece...I keep looking at it to see all the detail that I didn't know the female had. The Males are in your face beautiful...the females are much more subtly beautiful.

    Lovely composition and capture. the sharp details and colors are superb...I like the perch and the multi colored background...would suggest on opening the eye just a tad and selective sharpen...well done...:cool:

    Hi....I agree with Gus
    Backround is great and the sharpness of the subject stands out...Exposure is right on and the lighting brings out the subtlety(spell?) of color in the bird.

    Love the BG Denise, it looks like rays of light coming through and the bird is lovely with great details.
