Shot this with my macro lens but decided it looked too "crisp" and it didn't have a soft feel to it. So I played around w/ color-efex and came up with this-It has the warm soft feel I was looking for.

Beautiful shot with beautiful colors. I agree the softness really maks this top notch. Did you work the bottom of the stem to look cut, or are my tired old eyes playing tricks on me? Love the shot

Dave, That was part of the framing I put on it. At first I wanted it to cut into the picture more-but realized a little is a better touch.

Really nice Denise. What great colours and agree with Dave about the soft feel. Very interesting how you did the frame. Quite creative. I like it. Dave

I like it too, Denise, but wonder if you could burn the right side so the same amount of light areas showed up as the left side does? (I'm talking about the bottom area of the flower.) I think that would add even more depth to the piece.

Love the colors...kind of like an Orton but not...very interesting!

Very pretty Denise, like the colours and the overall feel of this. The framing is funky and I like it!
