Despite the plunging temperatures I knew I either had to get out this weekend and try to capture the holiday lights or wait until next year so out I went...

This is my second try at night time photography. Any help or comments you can give me on how to improve next time would be much appreciated!

    Hey Jules,

Don't know about any tips to make the images better. I think its pretty neat just the way it is. Nice job.

    Hey Jules,
Not bad for the 2nd time! You may want to try and bump the ISO to 200 and 400 next time......as that will make the more distant lights a bit brighter and make them bleed a bit of thier light onto the shadow areas......but it will pose one problem......the FG fountain will want to get blown out.......so you may have to cover that part of the lens.......for part of the exposure.......use your hand......and move it around so you don't get a hard edge.......added bonus of using f18.....you may get star bursts from the lights! Still.....nicely composed for 2nd try and have fun with your next attempts!
