I am not entirely sure this image belongs in this forum but saw no other suitable area for it.
We had about 15 deer in a ravine nearby to our rugby club. When I went to photograph them, all I found was coyote tracks and the remains of a hind leg.
:(
Compositionally, the image is distracting with the large OOF area of the bone in the front. That part is also clipped at the bottom edge. At the left, another bone is clipped. The pine bough or grass or whatever that is on the right seems out of place.
I think a better vantage point would have been looking straight down.
From a story-telling perspective, this image with a few others might work. However, on its own, at least to me lacks context.
From the angle photographed, I'm seeing a human foot, leg, hip, and other leg (Gotta quit watching CSI). Agree that it would be better as part of a series (The 15 deer and their missing friend...) and maybe from a different angle.
