Another image from my day on the Hooptie Deux. There was a pair of Ospreys building a nest, and James piloted the boat to a perfect angle relative to the sun. One of the birds cooperated by flying in with a fish, and he promptly consumed the head.

I always enjoy details, you have certainly captured that with this image. There is a certain intensity and determination associated with this and I think it makes the image.
Its so nice having somebody gracious enough to pilot ya around isn't it?! I miss so many photo ops playing captain.. okay I'm done crying now. The verticle crop (if it is a crop) works nicely and the seeing the sharp under wing feather details are nice! Congrats!
