    Very nice Denise,
I like the image and capture...you have good colors and sharp details I like the sharp eye and dead on head angle...I also think that the habitat compliments your bird...suggestion...my personal taste; I would crop 1/4 from the top...other than this, well done...congrats...

    Hi denise:

Very pleasing, I like the pastel colours, and the bird placement.

    Well done

Very intimate, very intense and so sharp! I like the little flowers in the foreground, too. Congrats, Denise.

Hi Denise - very nice - like the flowers in the FG gives it a nice feel.

Looks a little soft to me - sharpened it a tad - made the eye more prominent.

Nice shot Denise, what was your focal length. 400? Like the sharpening of the eye (might do a little less) and the bird and the blurring of the BG by Lance.

Lance, I like the feather details but the eye looks over done to me.

The big for me was the eye and Lance nailed it !! Needs to be more prominent.

The crop is odd since the virtual bottom of the bird is cut but don't think it could be helped because of the foreground. Really nice and one I would love to have !!! Big Congrats !!!

Alfred, my concern is it doesn't look very natural. or is it just me?

denise, i'd say something in between. either way, i love the capture. nice detail!! especially in lance's repost, but the eye does look a little funky to me.
