    Hi Folks:

Caught this Inmature Harris's Hawk beside the fishpond in one of our neighbourhood parks about 4 blocks away. Was more interested in the carp and goldfish than me.

    CC's welcome and much appreciated.

Nice one Gus. Excellent details and colour, perhaps a bit dark or needs some shadow reduction. Just noticing the nice lush grass in bg. probably need to move north for a while Gus so you can better appreciate that stuff. Dave

    Hi Uncle Gus,
I like the composition and capture...I like the turned head pose...the details are sharp and the eye is crystal clear...I would suggest opening up the mid-tones and the sdadows...its a little bit under exposed...also need to do a light pass of noise reduction...also their is a vertical brown stick going up the bird's neck; need to clone it out...looking forward to the next one...well done Uncle...:)

P.S. I would consider eliminating the shadow in the background that slices throught the bird's head...clone in some grass to patch it up...:D

Do like the composition, specially the HA. Agree with previous comments on it being a little dark.
    Well done Uncle Gus.

Hi Gus ..... don't blame him at all ...they probably taste better :)

Might go with a little more room around the bird and clearing he one stick by the neck ! Sure hope you get other chances at that fine bird it will be back !!!

Hard to get birds in their natural environment. You did well Gus. Your condo and neighbourhood seem like quite a hopping place.:D Keep them coming:)
