    “Balancing Act”

This little girl was perched in the shade under the mango tree in my Pops enchanted garden. She was painted with a Nikon D2x using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 D IF-ED lens, with a Nikkor 1.4 T/C.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 630mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / matrix metering / ISO @ 320 /1/1200sec - f/16 / exposure comp @ +1.3EV / white balance @ cloudy / AF Mode @ AF–C, dynamic range /color mode @ sRGB / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +3 degrees / saturation factor @ +3 / no speedlight / no tripod - hand held, braced against palm tree. /

    Comments greatly appreciated…

Amazing how much detail you can get out of those wings! They look like thin copper netting. Lovely BG colors!

Another nice one Gus. some how a reasonably tight pano crop feels right to me. I hope Pop is getting some change out of this!

The branch coming from off-center looks nice with your crop Gus. Killer BG. Neat head-on shot.
