It is a great moment for my family. Yesterday my father in law, Tom Walter, joined BPN. He is the one who introduced me to photography 20 years ago. He helped me buy my first camera (K1000 with 50mm lens) and along all those years, he has been a great encouragement to me. With my son Joël (now 17 years old) also being on BPN, it makes 3 generations of passionate photographers part of this great BPN community.
We ca see Joël and Tom during a shoot last September.Yes, I know, Joël is chimping...
It would be interresting to know if there is other 3 generations groups on BPN.
Excellent image (albeit a bit green for the northlands this time of year).
My dad gave me a "Johnny Woodchuck" film developing kit (I think it was from Sears and Johnny Woodchuck is not a real brand) and an old bellows style 35mm camera (that I wish I still had) more years ago than I care to remember. My sisters still whine about me clogging up the only bathroom in the house to develop my b&w film. Good times. Dad's not around to talk about them anymore... but they are good memories. Congrats!
