As we were driving out of Babcock Ranch, FL (Sorry if that spelling is incorrect) I noticed these three walking around on the turf farm next door to the ranch. Firstly I didn't know there were such things as turf farms...that seems a bit like snow making in the arctic to me and secondly it was really strange to see them in a line like this. I didn't quite catch them all with one leg up in unison (That would have been awesome).
As for the shot...I think I could have done with a little more room on the left of the image - this is at full horizontal crop so nothing left to play with. I could do some clone work but whenever I do it it looks unnatural because I know it has been done. I also think getting slightly lower would have worked. I am starting to get annoyed at how much of a perfectionist you people are making me!!!
Anyway I will leave the rest of the C & C up to you far more experienced people. I will as always be extremely grateful for pointers on improvements. Thank you for looking.

Hi Rob,
I share your reaction to the revelation about making good images...I remember the frustration like it was yesterday---because it was and is! I think you did a great job with the exposure of the whites and agree that a lower angle would have improved the image.
Hi Rob,
you are getting more selective in your compositions; this is a good sign...:D you also are 100% correct in your self assessment...In addition to your comments, I felt that a tight pano crop would do these three justice. I also selective sharpened the heads and opened up the mid-tone...the whites were toned down a bit and I added 1/4 canvas to the left of the frame to give bird more walking room. I also increased saturation and contrast by 1 percent...see if this presents best to you...
Hi Gus, Katie
Thank you very much for the comments.
As usual Gus has come up trumps with his re-post, and as usual I agree with everything he has done!! As usual as it is I love the fact that it will never get boring...I always get excited by the prospect of improvement.
Rob, this looks like one bird cloned in different positions. It looks funny! Like Gus's repost but wouldn't take quite so much from the top, and not sharpen them as much.
