More cattails and fog. This time 4 mallards were coming out of sun. Cloned two out. The rest is serval passes of Topaz Adjust Simplify to get rid of grasses and sticks and a PS Exclusion layer and lots of sharpening to get halos. Too much??

Great image, Dave! I love the tall vertical reach of this. The colors are beautiful and the birds and sun are prefectly placed as far as I'm concerned. Stunning!

You are right Denise . I am having fun. So much fog around hard to get out so it seems like trying to make mince meat out of mud sometimes. Tks.
It is very interesting Jules. Another aspect to photography I had not thought about. It is hard to understand what a person is trying to do.. so much trial and error. Fun though.
I do appreciate the feedback and thanks to you both.

Like the colours and the framing on this Dave. Nice and simple. Would just take a soft eraser and go over the halos on the sun and birds.
