    Dragonflies are one of my favorite insects to photograph. This one had just caught some bug and was eating it.

    Olympus SP-550 UZ
    f4.0 @ 1/500, ISO 100, -1.0 EV
    Aperture priority mode
    Natural light
    Processed in Photoshop CS2; cropped, curves adjustment, shadow/highlight, slight saturation increase, noise reduction, and sharpening

    Wow, that sure is a detailed close-up view. It looks like you had some harsh light as there are some hot spots. I admire your skill, dragonflys don't usually sit still for long.

    Well composed and executed Christopher...I like the sharp details and the color rendition...would suggest running some noise reduction on the background...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    Hi Christopher Neat catch !! Grabbing insects eating insects is not an easy thing !! Big Congrats !!!

    I think I would try framing a little different with more room up front or zooming more on the catch if possible !!!
