This squirrel took over a log-feeder setup that I was using for bird photography. I took several photos of him but this one is the best. Although many consider squirrels as pests, I think that they make good photographic subjects. What do you think?

    Joel,

You got him in a good pose and with a nice clean BG. I would clone out the misc. seed on the snow

    Joel,
I agree with you that they make good photographic subjects. The background helps the image. Nice pose.

    Joel,
I'm no expert, but I'll put my two cents in. You got a good pose and it's real sharp. I would suggest having some more room to the right for the squirrel to look into.

Very nice pose, light, sharpness, background and shooting angle, Joel. I agree with Robert about cloning the seeds in the snow and maybe the dark edges of the log in the background as well. You might also crop a little from the left and add some room on the right, if you have it.

I think you nailed it with the repost. I like the placement of the subject and your exposure seems right on. Your cleanup helps the image also...
