Lovely wintery mood to this, Axel. Amazing number of birds - must have been quite a sight. I think this image probably needs a larger version to do it justice - a big print would be quite absorbing looking at the individuals within the flock.

Definitely an impressive flock! Nice exposure and the background peaking through the geese. I personally am surprised at the apparent wing sharpness given 1/250 second...probably would have opened the aperture mysefl since DOF is not a big concern and sharp wings are always nice when you print this big.
