A quick hike after work turned out to be quite lucky for me. This was the fourth bobcat I've seen in the wild but the first since I started carrying a camera. This one didn't seem to concerned about me and I managed to take about 6 images before he turned and sauntered off into the brush. I went down the ravine to see if I could see him again but he had disappeared. 40D, 1-400L @ 100mm, f5.6, 1/125s, ISO 1600, + 1/3 EC. Slight crop for comp and removed a few strands of grass.
