    Default Spoonbill flight pano

I had my first spoonbill encounter shortly after sunrise on James Shadle's boat. We put on waders and got into the shallow water. We worked a pair of spoonbills for quite some time, but eventually they flew off. This was my best photo from the flight series.

You must have been stoked when you saw your first spoonbill. I still get excited when I see one, and I live in Florida. Love the light on this one. Amazing detail and sharp for 700mm handheld. Nicely done.

Great job as usual Doug but would expect nothing less. The wing position eye contact and love the striations on the bill, nicely done and thank you doe sharing.

What a nice, mature Spoonie! I'm wondering if the instead of a pano, maybe a bit less on the left, and a bit more on the bottom?

Everything else looks spot on to me.

Excellent wing and head details, Doug. I like the patterns in the water with the low angle. I might remove the small dark spot behind the toes.

Great details, pose and BG. Maybe some curve work for more details in the shadows and toning down the highlights on the neck.
