    This shot was made in Melbourne FL. I hope to learn mucho about BIF photography starting tomorrow as I will be attending the Jim Nieger's Flight School. 50% crop on this one. OUCH!! post #666 :eek:.

    Hi Dan - I like the contrasting colours and the wave at the bottom. Mr Pelican has nice details and looks sharp. On my screen looks like there are a couple of hotspots on the neck - probably not over on the original (Pushed right to the edge)

    I would sharpen the eye and see if you can make it a bit more prominent. Have fun with Jim - cant wait to see your shots when you get back :)

    Hi Dan, Agree w/ Lances suggestion about the eye. Lovely details and colors-Like the wave break!

    Looking good Dan,
    Agree with Mr. Peters on his tech advise...I recommend adjusting the mid-tones and opening up the background just a tad...the placement of your bird in frame is good...and I like the flight angle...good show...and have a blast in bird flight school...:D:cool:
