Default White Pelican near Sebastian in Silver Light...

This was taken towards the end of the last day of Robert Amoruso's MINWR IPT early this month. A combination of setting sun and fierce storm clouds created a beautiful diffuse silvery light that lasted only a few minutes. I tried to make the most of it and hope you enjoy this result.

Slight crop, noise reduction on background, cloned out one rock.
No flash was used for this image and I'm amazed by the result. I did take a couple with flash and will try to post one later for comparison.

[edit: errr... near SEBASTIAN, not Sanibel - sorry, brain disengaged]

Great exposure, nice whites, lots of detail and I like the framing. I don't think flash could make it any better. Well done.

A well controlled image and the lighting is quite remarkable. A very nicely balance picture.

This image has a great sense of mood, very dreamy. Well exposed, and sharp. I might crop off the bottom a bit to get rid of the orange reflection. Keep up the good work.
