Captured this pond heron with fish in Keoldeo Ghana National Park in Bharatpur, India.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, EF 400 mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/160, 1EV. A slight crop from bottom and right basically to exclude an out of focus purple swamp hen.

Look forward to your comments and critiques.

Like the action captured Sabyasachi. I would move the bird to the left of the frame. It's easy to create new canvas on the right since it sounds like you couldn't include more of the actual right side of the the photo. I would remove the stick pointing diagonally to the right just in front of the bird.

Nice feeding shot. I like the bird's pose. I agree with Doug about creating a bit more canvas on the right and cropping off the left to better position the bird in the frame.

I am reproducing the original image. I had cropped to remove the out of focus moore hen in the top right corner.
