Duck hunter out on a partially frozen Boundary Bay, BC. A final pass of Topaz Denoise after sizing for web gave this smooth look to it. 50D, 400mm lense at f/7.1, 1/800, EC+1/3 ISO 400. Dave

    Well done Dave,
This image tells the story; the pano crop is so fitting. I like the multi tones and hues of blue...the hunter is placed well in frame...good show:cool:

Ilike the exposure and the comp, however few would really know that was a hunter just by looking at the image.

Doesn't matter to me who he is - he perfectly balances the driftwood on the right of the frame. This is beautiful, Dave...I have to sit down and play with that topaz filter!

Thanks everyone for the comments. I know Dave, I wished his gun was showing but no such luck. I sat on the picture for a while not quite knowing what to do with it. I was struck by the persistence and futility of it all. From all apearances and perhaps because I was there, the hunter had no hope of ever getting close to the flock. Anyway..
    Dave
