This was taken yesterday morning at Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge.

    40D, EF 70-200 F4L, 1.4X TC @280mm
    1/2500 sec, f/8, ISO 400, Exp comp -2/3

Cloned few impurities from the water; sharpened and removed noise from the background. Does the crop work? Your comments and feedback would be appreciated.

Love the symmetry of this - a little more room below may be nice and I think cropping from the sides to a squarish format would work. I would clone the disembodied toes from the reflection and apply some CCW rotation. Darkening the blues will make the bird pop a little better.

I agree with Tony about more room at the bottom and toning down the BG a litle bit. The composition works very well IMO. Good job

    Indranil,
I agree that some room below the reflection would be better. Without the reflection this image would have lost its charm. Good thinking in including the reflection.
